2016
In 2016, best friends of 25+ years and Weymouth-natives Mike Crooks and Erik Dutcher decided to take their passion and love of all things Barbecue to the next level. They started small by "catering" friends & families' parties. Word spread and, soon, every weekend was booked with catering events! Wanting to share their food and continue to make people "happy one bite at a time," they branched out to the Local Breweries & Food Truck Festivals. Sarcastic Swine had a following!

2019
Sarcastic Swine proudly set up shop in Spring of 2019 in Abington, MA right on Route 18. Quickly, news spread that high-quality barbecue eats were finally available for purchase right here on the South Shore and we amassed a loyal, pork-loving, brisket-biting following. (That's YOU!!)
2020
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sarcastic Swine provided kids with free meals. Read more on The Patriot Ledger.

98.5 The Sports Hub named Sarcastic Swine one of the 34 Best BBQ Restaurants in Massachusetts.
2023
During Christmas time, you can find us at Edaville Railroad. We set up in a cute little building where we sell during the holidays.
